As part of our growing list of services we have now added GPS Hire. We are currently offering Garmin eTrex handheld GPS receivers as well as MobileMapper CE for hire for those who would like to consume GPS services but who do not consider it necessary to purchase the equipment.
Garmin eTrex Hand Held GPS Receiver
Description
Garmin eTrex is the world’s smallest GPS that provides satellite navigation that you can count on. This 12 channel GPS locks onto satellites fast and stays locked on, even under extreme conditions. A built-in antenna allows this sleek unit to slip into your hand, pack or pocket with ease. Operations are equally easy and logical. The eTrex is proof that GPS navigation doesn’t have to be difficult.
The minimum hire period for this GPS is 5 days. The hire charge rate for the Garmin GPS is KSh. 300 per day.

Mobile Mapper CE
Description
The MobileMapper CE is a highly flexible, accurate, affordable and rugged handheld GPS receiver for universal GIS use. Compatible with Windows CE based GIS applications, the MobileMapper CE provides real-time sub-meter and even sub-foot accuracy in post-processing. Support of Bluetooth wireless technologies, DGPS networking capabilities, huge storage capability, field-replaceable all-day battery, built-in alphanumeric keypad, and a design that can withstand extreme outdoor conditions ensures that the MobileMapper CE delivers uncompromised performance and productivity.
Driven by the powerful office support software, MobileMapper CE provides clear and simple data display, editing and export capabilities. MobileMapper CE makes creating or updating maps for analysis and storage in any Geographic Information System quick and easy. The hire charge rate for the Mobile Mapper CE is KSh. 1,500 per day.
